Welcome to the Sixth Form

A Warm Welcome to Arnewood Sixth

Arnewood Sixth is smaller, more personal and more ambitious than you might expect. Whether you've been with us since Year 7 or you're arriving from another school, you'll find a community that takes your future seriously - and works hard to help you get there.

Our goal is simple: to help every student leave Arnewood Sixth as ambitious, confident and kind - ready to lead a happy and fulfilled life, whatever path they choose.

Ambition drives everything in our Sixth Form. We have high expectations of every student - and we back those expectations with expert teaching, real guidance, and the kind of personal relationships that make a difference. Last year, 84% of our students achieved their first-choice university. That's something we're proud of - but it's the students behind those numbers, and the journeys they took to get there, that matter most.

Success here is broad and personal. It might mean a place at a Russell Group university, an apprenticeship with a leading employer or simply discovering what you're truly capable of. Our Sixth Form team supports every student to get there - through dedicated tutoring, one-to-one career guidance, university and apprenticeship preparation, and an enrichment programme that builds skills and confidence alongside academic qualifications.

And we believe that success is always stronger when it's built Together. Our Sixth Form is a genuine community - inclusive, collaborative, and built on strong relationships between students and staff. You'll have a Form Tutor who knows you, access to pastoral support throughout your two years, and a programme of leadership and enrichment opportunities designed to help you grow as a person, not just as a student.

I look forward to welcoming you to our vibrant Sixth Form community.
