Welcome to the Class of 2032 who are joining Team Arnewood in September 2025. We are excited to have you here with us. Please note the following important dates:

Wednesday 25^th June – Parents’ information evening (6.00-6.45pm)

Thursday 10^th July / Friday 11^th July – Year 6 student transition days (8.30am-3.00pm) and parent drop-in (3.00-3.45pm)

Thursday 4^th September – School starts for Year 7 (8.30am-3.00pm). Please note all other year groups will start school on Friday 5^th

To help your child’s transition to Arnewood, please can parents/carers of our new year 7 cohort complete the following compulsory forms by Monday 7^th July at the latest:

Supporting a Smooth Transition to Secondary School

We understand that moving from Junior School to Secondary School can be a big step, especially for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or those feeling anxious about the change. To help make this transition as smooth and positive as possible, we have prepared a Learning Support Transition Booklet that we hope will reassure students with SEND as they prepare to join Arnewood School. We have signposted a range of supportive resources and carefully selected websites. These include Top Tip guides, social stories, and information designed to build confidence and familiarity with your child’s new school environment. Our aim is to ensure every student feels prepared, supported, and excited for their new journey ahead.
