The Arnewood School PSA is a group of parents and staff members who are committed to support the school through fundraising and offering the student and parent community a variety of extra curricular events throughout the school year.
Our aim is to assist the school by funding non-educational projects for the benefit of students and staff, to ensure the welfare of all at the school, and to promote informal contact between the school personnel, parents, and the community at large. See the PSA section of the school newsletters (available here) for more information on the PSA events and activities.
GET INVOLVED! Follow us on our Facebook page where meeting dates/upcoming events will be publicised. We know that we all lead very busy lives, so the more willing pairs of hands the better. Not everyone can be able to help at everything…but assistance where possible is much appreciated and makes a big difference. Join our Facebook page or email us PSA@arnewood.hants.sch.uk
We are always looking out for any uniform that has been outgrown! Please leave washed unwanted items at School Reception at any time. If you would like to purchase any items the link to our online shop and instructions are here.
Support our fundraising by signing up to “YourSchoolLottery”. There is a winner in the school community every week, winning approx. £25, and a weekly national draw winner of £25,000. Every 40p spent goes straight back to the school. To date we have raised around £1800 through this easy to support fundraiser. If every parent bought a Lottery ticket, we would reach our £10,000 target this year through this programme alone. Sign up to YourSchoolLottery here.

Sheralee Coles
Hi, I’m Sheralee , busy mum of three. I have been Chair since 2018, when my first born started at Arnewood. Oakleigh spent 5 happy years at Arnewood and is now studying at College. Finleigh is currently in year 8 and my youngest is still in Primary School. My motivation for joining the PSA, was to be able to get more involved in the school when my eldest joined Arnewood, where as a parent, I suddenly felt “out of the loop”. I have enjoyed being part of an amazing team since joining and would encourage parents to join.
Vacancy
We have a vacancy for PSA Secretary. The role involves taking minutes and arranging meetings, and also co-ordinating our activities. If you may be interested in this role please email psa@arnewood.hants.sch.uk
Tom Herbert
Joined the PSA team in 2023 as the Treasurer, I’ve always done various volunteering roles and this is a way I feel that I can support the community I’ll be a part of for the next 6 years and make things better for all of the students. I’m looking forward to working with the other PSA members and having some fun along the way.
Nikki Buchan
Hi, I am Nikki. I joined the PSA in April 2022 shortly after joining Arnewood School as a member of staff as the SEN Admin Assistant in the Learning Support Department. I have one son who is currently in Year 6 at Junior School, but he will hopefully be moving up to Arnewood when he starts Year 7 next September. The PSA team are a lovely bunch of highly motivated and enthusiastic people who not only made me feel very welcome when I joined, but have at their core a deep desire to enhance the overall Arnewood School experience of all our students by assisting the school to provide valuable additional facilities and events.
Nicki Benoit-Means
Hi, I’m Nicki. I joined the PSA in 2019 and have helped organise second-hand uniform donations and sales, as well as other fundraising events in the past. Although both my children have now finished at Arnewood, being a ‘friend’ of the PSA is a great way to connect with other parents (as well as have a giggle whilst raising funds for school!)
