I am reporting on how the football fixtures between St Peter’s and The Arnewood School played out on Wednesday the 23rd of March. First, let me explain the scoring. A win is three points, a draw is two points and a loss is one point. Whoever has the most points by the end of the game wins. There were 3 teams of mixed ability for Arnewood and St Peters.

Arnewood won one, lost one and drew one. At the end of the first leg the scores were 6-6 and Arnewood and St Peters were neck and neck.

After the second leg the score was 13-11 to St Peters. It seemed like it was all coming to an end for Arnewood because we had to win all our remaining games to claim victory. It all came to a very dramatic end with Arnewood winning all three games and winning the matches 20-16.

First leg games:
Arnewood 1 vs St Peters 3      (1-0 to Arnewood)
Arnewood 2 vs  St Peters 1     (0-0 draw)
Arnewood 3 vs St Peters 2      (1-0 to St Peters)

Second leg games:
Arnewood 3 vs St Peters 1 (2-0 to St Peters)
Arnewood 1 vs St Peters 2 (2-1 to Arnewood)
Arnewood 2 vs St Peters 3 (2-0 to St Peters)

Third leg games:
Arnewood 1 vs St Peters 1 (2-0 to Arnewood)
Arnewood 2 vs St Peters 2 (3-0 to Arnewood)
Arnewood 3 vs St Peters 3 (1-0 to Arnewood)
