Our Spanish visitors were paired with Arnewood Year 7 and 8 hosts who took care to welcome them to New Milton, show them around the school campus, introduce them to friends and spend their breaks, lunch and tutor times together.

As well as attending lessons for music, drama, science, art, English, textiles and the visiting students participated in a re-enactment of the battle of Hastings during a history lesson, took part in a quiz, sampled traditional afternoon tea with scones made during their food technology lesson and were presented with certificates during a graduation ceremony.

Headteacher, Mr Pressnell said, “It has been lovely seeing our students interacting with visitors and acting so responsibly as hosts. The students have really enjoyed their experience’
