The Expressive Arts Awards Evening was held on Wednesday the 13th of July to celebrate and recognise the extraordinary talents and achievements of students within the arts at Arnewood. The Arnewood school is renowned for its devotion to excellence within expressive arts and the department is now homed by a newly refurbished, dedicated Arts Hub building.

The Music, Drama and Art departments came together to acknowledge the efforts and commitments of outstanding students within each discipline. Nominations were received in each year group, for the categories of Artist of the Year, Dramatist of the Year, and Musician of the Year. Staff from the Faculty of Expressive Arts collaborated to organise, host and officiate the presentation of awards.

The event was incredibly well attended by students, staff and parents with queues to get in stretching all the way onto the driveway. Guest speakers included playwright and actor Chris Woodley, CEO of Spud WORKS Mark Drury and Arnewood Alumni Olivia Hilton-Foster who inspired by sharing her experience of studying and working within the Theatre Industry. The Audience were treated to performances by some of the award winners. Proceedings were concluded with an address from headteacher Nigel Pressnell.
