Fond Farewells

Schools say a fond farewell to Alan O’Sullivan on his last day as Chief Executive Officer of The Gryphon Trust. The Gryphon Multi Academy Trust located on the border of Hampshire and Dorset and is responsible for both The Arnewood School and The Eaglewood School.

Mr O’Sullivan has dedicated the past 10 years to ensuring that all Trust students have the opportunity to thrive and achieve their individual potential with the support of highly skilled and motivated staff. Mr O’Sullivan became a Governor of The Arnewood School in 2009 and then Director of The Gryphon Trust from its inception in 2011, he has served as CEO for the past 4 years.

Headteacher of The Eaglewood School, Mr Himmel added, “ Its been an absolute pleasure working with Alan over the last few years. Eaglewood has been on quite a journey during his time as CEO and Alan has played a key role throughout; from the construction of its brand new facility, to supporting the leadership team through its successful first OFSTED inspection. His calmness under pressure and attention to detail has been key to helping make the school the success it is today.”

Mr O’Sullivan said “I’m proud to have had the opportunity to lead this successful trust.”
