Finn to represent Great Britain
We are so proud of Year 11 student Finn who has been selected to represent Great Britain in the Under 19 Floorball World Cup Qualifiers coming up at the end of January 2025.
It is a massive achievement to be selected, however, the floorball governing body does not cover any of the costs, Finn is looking to raise £1500 to cover travel and accommodation costs to the championships in Italy. To support Finn, donations can be made through Finn’s GoFundMe page.
If the money raised goes over target, then the additional funds will go towards other teammates and the team. Good Luck Finn, we are rooting for you!

Hi, my name is Finn and I play for the Great Britain’s U19 Floorball team. Floorball is best described as a combination of ice hockey and field hockey. It pits two teams of six against each other in a fast-paced match played over three 20 minute periods. I have been playing floorball since I was 7 years old, and it has always been my ambition to represent my country. I have been chosen to represent Great Britian at the U19 Floorball World Cup Qualifiers in Latisana, Italy in January 2025.
Floorball in Great Britain is very small and very few people have even heard of it, which means that we don’t receive any funding from any sporting governing body. Therefore, each team member must cover their own travel, accommodation and training expenses for the event. To help finance my journey to the World Cup I have set up a GoFundMe page and any donations to help me get there would be gratefully received.
